Apple Unveils iPhone 15, Apple Watch Series 9, AirPods Ultra at 2023 Event
Apple’s highly anticipated event, called “Wonderlust,” is set to take place at the company’s headquarters in Cupertino, California on September 12 at 10 a.m. local time. Apple fans and tech enthusiasts are eagerly awaiting the event, as the tech giant is expected to unveil a range of new products and potentially surprise attendees. The most noteworthy products to be revealed include the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone Pro Max, Apple Watch 9, Apple Watch Ultra 2, and AirPods. Additionally, the event will announce the official release dates for iOS 17, iPadOS 17, watchOS 10, and tvOS 17, all of which were initially showcased at WWDC23 in June. As always, the focus of this event will be on hardware, with the iPhones expected to steal the show.

In line with the iPhone’s move to USB-C charging, Apple plans to switch its Lightning-based accessories to this new standard. Among the first products are AirPods Pro, which have been popular. Apple is also planning to bring USB-C charging to its regular AirPods and AirPods Max, likely next year.
While the headphones may not have major hardware updates, the software update brings better automatic device switching, the ability to mute and unmute the AirPods themselves, and a feature called Conversation Awareness that mutes media when someone starts talking to the user.
